When The PS Events Group was asked to turn a blank, conventional conference room into a full-throttle 1920s awards spectacular in only two hours, there was no hesitation. They rolled up their sleeves, gathered the feathers and fringe, and set to work to create the most rip-roaring transformation
From Boardroom to Ballroom in 120 Minutes
By nightfall, the same space that had hosted morning presentations had been reborn into a lavish Gatsby-style gala. The transformation began with a bespoke “Welcome to the ‘20s” backdrop, setting the scene with style, finesse, and just a hint of speakeasy mischief.
Tables glowed under soft mood lighting, with beautiful art-deco gold palm centre pieces; draped in dark, elegant fabrics. But this wasn’t just about décor, it was about creating an atmosphere that took you on a journey from the moment you stepped into the room and continued with showstopping, immersive experiences as the evening unfolded.
A Show-Stopping Night
The entertainment was superbly curated and meticulously planned to take the guests by surprise between courses, immersing them in the1920’s journey, making them feel like they were part of the action. Think West-End trained tap dancers, flapper-style vocalists, and a troupe of 1920s performers serving up custom choreography, all supported by a high-energy live band. Just when guests thought it couldn’t get more electric… enter celebrity DJ Venard, spinning a roaring finale that brought the house down.
The PS Events Group delivered the full concept creation and event production, this included “Welcome to the 20s” bespoke signage, set design, full room transformation, styling, live band, AV and custom 1920s soundtrack; costumed performers including dancers, tappers and singers; bespoke choreography, immersive entertainment and a celebrity DJ finale that secured a full dancefloor takeover.
